Join us for a once in a lifetime adventure to one of the world’s most remote and extraordinary dive locations, the UNESCO Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park in The Philippines, starting in the pure luxury of one of the world’s most exclusive tropical experiences, Banwa Private Island.

This private adventure is available to just 22 like-minded guests, hosted throughout by the team of Banwa Private Island, and provides private access to the rarely available reefs and islands of the Sulu sea.

Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park protects an area of almost 100,000 hectares of varied, rare and thriving marine life among three atolls and a large area of deep ocean.   The park includes pristine coral, a spectacular 100 metre perpendicular wall, extensive lagoons and a huge and dense variety of marine life including 600 fish species, 360 coral species, 11 shark species, 13 dolphin and whale species and 100 bird species.

Dive visibility is regularly 30 to 40 metres.

Access to the park is limited to just 3 months of the year and is by pre-organised private dive liveaboard only.  This adventure includes full board and accommodation for 6 nights aboard the most luxurious and modern dive yacht operating in the whole region and will be your home for both the Tubbataha dive experiences and transfers from Banwa to the park and return to Palawan.

Prior to visiting Tubbataha, guests will arrive at the world leading and exclusive Banwa Private Island, also situated within a protected marine sanctuary and part of the UNESCO protected Palawan reserve.  This ultra luxurious and mosquito-free island is a living nature reserve and conservation zone focused on sustainability and has just 6 completely private villas, all directly on the beach and with their own freshwater swimming pools.

Banwa was recently recognized as an ISRA, one of the Philippines 10 most important shark and ray habitats.

Banwa has its own PADI dive centre with superb diving and snorkeling on the house reef accessible directly from the beach or jetty.  In addition, within 1 hour of the island, there are over 15 dive sites including sunken wrecks, coral and a variety of colorful marine life.

In addition to diving, guests will have open access to the extensive wellness and sports facilities on the island and the opportunity to book additional experiences a little further afield.

The adventure will be completed after 5 days in Tubbataha with an overnight cruise back to Puerto Princesa on Palawan, just a few minutes from the airport.
