At Banwa Private Island, every diving experience begins with careful preparation, long before anyone enters the water.

On 10 October 2026, the island welcomed representatives from the Philippine Commission on Sports SCUBA Diving (PCSSD) for an inspection of its diving operations. The required documentation, diving equipment and emergency equipment met the inspection criteria, with the team also receiving recommendations for ongoing maintenance, training and safety practices.

From preparing equipment and briefing guests to exploring the house reef, much of the care behind each dive happens out of sight. It is an important part of how we welcome guests to discover the underwater world surrounding the island.

Alongside the Aquos Foundation's marine conservation work, these efforts reflect our continued commitment to responsible diving and caring for the waters and marine life that make this part of Palawan so special.
